Welcome Mother Kelsey

The vestry of St John's is delighted to announce that we have discerned a call with Mother Kelsey for a supply plus role. In addition to presiding over Sunday Eucharist, she will be providing 5 hours a week (or about 20 hours a month) of pastoral care or spiritual formation as well. Mother Kelsey's first week with us was June 12.

Mother Kelsey is interested in getting to know all about the families and individuals that worship at St John's. Currently we are coordinating "cottage dinners" with Mother Kelsey and her wife Sarah with 1-2 families at a time. A cottage dinner could be a family hosting dinner at their house, grabbing a coffee together, or some other small gathering. The goal of the cottage dinner, isn't about the food or the location but rather it provides a small group opportunity to get to know one another. The sign-up sheet is in the parish hall.
